Prabowo Never Doubts SBY's Commitment

kabar gram. Jakarta - Presidential Candidate Prabowo Subianto and Secretary of the Democratic Party (PD) Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) held a joint press conference after meeting for about 2 hours. Prabowo stressed that he had never doubted SBY's commitment.

"I underlined, never doubted SBY's commitment. He was the leader of the country, the leader of statesmen, and former army generals, of course they have calculations, we also have calculations. This synergy will be stronger," Prabowo said at a press conference at SBY's residence, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta, Friday (12/21/2018).


Prabowo said, in the early months, his coalition was busy heating up the party machines. Prabowo insists his coalition relationship with PD is still well established, there has never been a significant problem. A routine technical meeting was held by a pro-Prabowo-Sandiaga coalition.

"Then he input a lot that I consider very important," Prabowo said praising SBY beside him.


Prabowo praised the actions of SBY, AHY, and PD elites around Indonesia to campaign. The former Kopassus Danjen confirmed that he was more optimistic about winning the 2019 Presidential Election.

"We feel the people's desire for change," Prabowo said.

Relations between the two figures were rumored to be heating up after Gerindra Secretary General Ahmad Muzani brought up SBY's promise to campaign for Prabowo. Muzani's statement was welcomed by PD elite protests which called Prabowo not fulfilling promises to PD. Muzani was not seen in a press conference with Prabowo-SBY in the afternoon
